We did breakfast for our date this week. It was nice. Then we ran our errands and made the most delicious fish tacos for dinner. Yum.

Tomorrow we're going to the beach and maybe taking pictures for the next photo technique challenge. Yeehaw.

Tossed Salad & Scrambled Eggs [youtube.com]

This is the Astoria Coffee House and Bistro. I love it. It has an industrial/shabby chic kinda thing going on.

Love the lamp made of plates, cups, saucer, a teapot. . . so cool. Wish I had one.

Looking out the window.

This was some STRONG espresso

Derek's scrambled eggs & corned beef hash

My lox and bagel plate. DELICIOUS!! (but where are the capers?)

Our collective Æbleskivers in lingonberry syrup.

The table outside. Thought the rain drops looked cool.

Yes, those raindrops do look cool, as well as the inside of the cafe, the lamp, especially!
(aside: So you also have Kum n Go's out there? It was my first time being confronted with them, and laughed my head off... I have had a very sheltered life, you know...)

      Really nice shots Felecia!
Please tell me you shot the fish tacos 'cause my mind pictures a (whole) fish in a crunchy taco shell.

The food looks good , the setting is cool, but that last shot is awesome! I did a "rain-on-the-marble-table set" last summer and I totally love that result that you got!
