It's one of those big long horn things. He actually played it. It was pretty cool.
PS, it's hard to see just how big it really is. It is HUUUUUGE!

This is very interesting, first, I see a Alphorn and then a lot of German or Austrian costumes and even a Willkommen Wagon. Are you still in America?? :)) Lovely post

Interesting set. There is a town just north of you (well... a big bit) called Kimberly in British Columbia which has Bavarian buildings in most of its' public areas. It is really cool.

I love a good parade! Leavenworth reminds me of Lake Placid....very quaint and nordic looking. I really like the ricola guy and Derek's shirt!

of course! the chicken dance would be the only appropriate choice for leavenworth. so they had a parade for your birthday! cute shot of the two of you. The guy with the long horn was up on the balcony of the hotel when we were there
