Back in Time [youtube.com]

I took two hundred twenty two photos of these ships today. You're going to be seeing a lot of them I'm afraid.

Hawaiian Chieftain

Lady Washington…. they just fired her cannon.

ok, the lady got company! :-) and that cannonballing offender is, by all means, an ex-ghost ship. in it's brief time she was the "spirit of larinda", she managed to get her owner so depressed, he killed himself. ship ahoi! ;-)

Very, very cool. The smoke in the second is timed perfectly to show the action going on.

The cannon shot is great. Like in those great sea battles we read about in adventure books.

Love 'em! Both ships are beautiful. And what a great sky as a backdrop. We have tall ships coming here this week. I'm going to the waterfront on Friday and try to board a few.

These ships are magnificent with their raised sails and if 200 photos arrive I shall not grow tired of it :)

Beautiful, Feby! Not only are the ships gorgeous but you have the most amazing background for them... which really makes the shots looks like they could easily be from another era. You could do some b/w's with these and fiddle around to where they would look like OLD photos. When the tall ships visited here last year, I was surprised to find that they are actually really easy to get jobs on them! Go girl! 8^)
