No Signboard Seafood

A trip to Singapore will not be complete without having crabs for dinner. And the best two places for that are Jumbo and No Signboard. We were hoping to get a table in Jumbo along East Coast but the waiting time was just too long. We went instead to the next best restaurant for that, the No Signboard Restaurant. It got its name from customers who kept referring to it in its early days as a simple stall in Hawker Center in 1981 as the one with no signboard because the founder couldn't afford one. We ordered two crabs, one steamed for the kids and the Chili Crab for hubby and me. I'm not a fan of spicy food but this is an exception. The Black Pepper Crab in Jumbo is still yummier for me though. Oh and next time we go here, we'll order the specialty dish - White Pepper Crab. Happy Eating!
