What an amazing day for the gfamily. Today is the day we all tried skiing for the very first time in our lives. Together with the Oviedos, we left Beijing for Nanshan ski village in the morning, about a 45 minute drive from our place. It was daunting at first given the equipment we had to pick-up, the ski suits we had to wear plus the ski shoes we had to put on. Took us about an hour just to be able to suit up and we were just about ready to give up! Good thing Mauricio, (Abraham's dad) our resident ski expert guided us. As expected, Ally was a natural here (having trained in ice skating) and Basti had a difficult and not so enjoyable time. Overall, a wonderful not to be missed activity.
