On the edge

“I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center.” (Kurt Vonnegut, Jr)

Didn`t want to crop, so please enlarge for more details.

this almost looks like under water photography (blurry background, focus on details and surfaces, no perspective)...

i wonder when you will discover that you're on vast ground right now and that AIR is a perfect medium for landscape photography... ;-)

I saw this post yesterday and didnt have time to leave a comment but it really impressed me, the colours of the snail together with that spectacular creation of the dof makes it wonderful, it is a real piece of art!!

Csodás képek!
Sokat gondolkoztam, melyik tetszik legjobban, de nem tudok választani. Talán az utolsó három..

On the 4# picture, our little fellow looks so funny! Like "Hey, what's down there?"
Great set!

Magnificent set! I love how it's looking over the edge in the third one - my favorite! The clarity of the snail and the blurry background is just what you were talking about with me. Great effect! :)

Absolutely fantastic set! I saved #5 ... the vertical crop ... the composition ... the lines ... the color ... everything about it is just wonderful.

I appreciate that you didn't crop these. I despise having to crop!

The unbelivably tiny DOF really gives these shots wonderful and spectacular graphic qualities. I love how you composed them using the lines of «the edge», especially in #5 (in my favs).
Fabulous work. Out of an ordinary sight you created here extraordinary images.
