Mission Statement: Dedicated to the arts education and cultural enrichment of Manitou Springs and the Pikes Peak region and to creating an environment in which artists and arts organizations grow and thrive.

My daughter and I walked through the Business of Art Center* in Manitou Springs the other day with cameras and permission to shoot. The artists below were generous enough to allow us to indulge….for this we were much appreciative!

      All are wonderful, I admire these artists for their wonderful work and you captured it all with great photos! Reminds me of when my sis worked at Dogpatch in Harrison years ago throwing pottery..saved the last in my favs :-)

      excellent done Marsha - I like them all but 2nd and 3rd are really excellent - I love hands working on the last one and making smthing from the glass. last picture is absolutely briliant!

      People with this kind of talent amaze me - wonderful shots of the creation process. (I was glad to see you said "with permission to shoot". We always ask before we begin taking photos of anything where people's livelihoods are concerned. I'm happy that you do, too!)
