Cripple Creek Gold

There's a summer scene of the mountain in the last two photos in the first two shots of “Solitary Places.” [photoblog.com]

Usually one thinks of the gold around Cripple Creek, Colorado being buried deep under the ground, but in autumn there's a wealth of aspen “gold” covering the mountainsides as well!

      Beautiful. I love the clouds in shot #4. The trees in shot #1 are stunning! Just one shot missing...where's the money?? Ha! How I wish I could be there now to see Colorado at it's best! Great, great set!
