My oldest grandson, Jackson, and I spent a couple hours hanging out by an icy mountain stream yesterday.

He enjoyed doing “boy stuff” like chucking rocks, poking at ice with a stick, and testing the strength of frozen spots by stepping on them. Don't worry it was very shallow!

What was I doing? Well, you know!

I wanted to save all of them, but I finally settled on #4 - sucj great details and focus! Wow, I love your stuff!! (And I see by the ipod that you probably had meaningful conversations with Jackson - the only thing worse is a teenage girl!!)

after all, isn't your grandson cold? because his shirt and coat seems so not warm O_O
I'd get frozen if i was wearing that hehe
nevertheless, while he played you enjoyed the photography!
I'm happy to see your grandson with you, here in portugal is very rare a grandson have walks with the grandmother... it is sad i know, but even being 18, i'd have a walk with my grandmother anytime she wants! i've even did that many times!:)

It seems that you two had an awesome time together...Very peaceful and rewarding.
Love the combination of the b&w with the coloured ones, and the close ups of water and ice look very appealing.
