My grandson, Jackson, and I went hiking and shooting at Paint Mines near Calhan, Colorado on Wednesday. In case you missed it, click the links to my two Paint Mines posts from February below.

I'll have to admit that it made me a little nervous the way he was swinging that camera around!

Kids can't get along these days without music in their ears at all times!

I'm getting left behind, on your trail, but also on PB! I loved this location when you were there previously. And I like these shots very much, particularly the last two.

My goodness, Marsha - he's grown so much since your last post with him! The first shot is a great lead photo and I love #4 and 5.

All are quite good, but for me, #6 is glorious: the majesty of the landscape, clouds, etc. combined with the fact that it could be a painting as well - bravo! New favorite of mine.

i love this series of bonding and beautiful captures.. #5 is beautiful in bW.. and I agree that people these days would have to ask HUH when you ask them questions because they have those earplugs on.. ;)

Lol! He'd have been making me nervous too. These are such excellent shots Marsha! Amazing. Love the perspectives and angles. And also, I can't believe you have a grand son that is more than a toddler.
