What? This Is Spring?

It’s common to get snow in the Rockies during the month of May. Shot this a few days ago (5/11/19) and as you can see Pikes Peak is covered in white. You’ll also notice in #1 that the evergreens show color as always, but the aspen being deciduous are still bare. Since the snow covered peak and leafed out aspen would rarely occur together in this scene...just gotta shoot what’s there. The reservoir is not frozen though...so there is that!
