Pikes Peak View

A short drive up Rampart Range Road from my town will get you to the reservoir by the same name. This is my favorite view from up there, looking over a bit of water towards Pikes Peak with some granite in the foreground. Breathe in that fresh mountain air!

Bliss Marsha! I rarely get the high country so your images likewise keep us close! I am always torn between the ocean and the mountains. Im loving being back next to the sea but the mountains are equally moving.

Agreed. They’re both absolutely amazing and in completely different ways. I got hooked on the mountains at a young age when my family went for summer vacations in Colorado. Have very much enjoyed some wonderful visits to the ocean, but my heart belongs to the mountains.

I'm so sorry. I have fallen in love at sight with this beautiful lake- and called it Blue Diamond... diving in, immersed in its beautiful radiance, melting into its waters, becoming one with it blue heart
