Looking at La Veta

La Veta, Colorado is a tiny town in the south central part of the state. Last week we took the camper down, a 2 hour drive, and parked in a quaint, quiet little campground for a weeklong stay. Although the skies were sometimes hazy from wildfires hundreds of miles away, we managed to find lots of beautiful, interesting sights and changing color in the general area to enjoy.

On a very remote road in the flatter regions we came across three pronghorns crossing the road before joining the rest of the herd. We were well back when I shot with a zoom lens through windshield (husband was driving slowly) so animals were in no danger.
