…to Switzerland Saturday afternoon, I decided to see what else my Samsung Galaxy could do. I found something in its camera that I did not know it was capable of doing. I still can't figure out exactly what it is doing, but I do know that the next several pictures that I post over the next few days were taken using this effect and as the train sped along the southern Baden countryside before entering Switzerland at Schaffhausen, I simply clicked, and held the camera and it chose what it wanted to click to make a longer picture. (I like to call it my “long shot”, cuz it surely was a “long shot” that something would come out.
Actually, the effect is supposed to be that the photographer is one place and can follow a runner, for example, and the runner is photographed in many different frames. However, as I was the one moving and my varying scenery was not, it created an interesting effect. You can see in this photo how it took the same building twice. The next posting will be the effect of “clicking” as we sped past a medieval town on the crest of a hill. More on that one next time.

“Engen”
Do not know if i like this effect. Sorry.
