Okay, so here is the second shot. Again, as the train sped by the town of Engen, I just let the shutter continue clicking until it wanted to stop. I didn't control it. It had a mind of its own. I think it clicked six or seven times. I can't recall because it was not a consistent set of clicks. However, I turned the camera as we went by in an attempt to keep it focused on the same place. Total guess - it was all too fast to plan and focus on any particular specific point.
This town is not as long as it looks. The right 50% of the shot actually consists of a repeat three times. The shade of the houses goes from lighter to darker depending on the angle of the train at the second the shot was snapped.
