Critters make me laugh. :)

Mom's still holding steady. On oxygen, she's able to be have stable vitals signs, and even though she's very weak, barely able to talk and hard to understand since she's on a forced air oxygen mask, she's bright and able to joke. She even ate and drank more yesterday than she has in a long time. I don't want to get my hopes up, but… I don't know. I don't know how to express how I'm feeling. I'm at very least happy that she's comfortable and able to enjoy her family.

Another complication, though, we just found out she has MRSA. It doesn't really change the outlook one way or another, but we have to wear gloves and a protective gown around her now, and we're not supposed to kiss her. Screw that. We've all been exposed for weeks anyway, so I still sneak in a little smooch when I can.

I just love that little woman so much, and I'm so proud of how strong and brave and resiliant she is.

Who needs to rinse first, when you have a sandpaper tongue cycle?

Goofy Pippin.

Splish splash…

I've been trying to get shots of birds in the bath, but they're usually gone by the time I come back with my camera.

Hard to even make out what's what here.

So cute when they're all poofed up.

So cute! The only birds I see actually bathing in the birdbath are crows. All the other birds just drink out of it.

I'm glad your mother is able to enjoy her family. I know it means so much to her to have you all there.
