As I was taking the pictures of these, I remembered lots of things from my childhood, knowing I grew up around those berries, either playing with them or eating them.
But then I've realized that to many people, it's not the case and those berries would be a new thing. So, here they are. :-) The rowanberries are very bitter unless you pick them at the certain time in the fall and make something sweet out of them. :-)
The red gooseberries, when ripe, have plenty of sweetness on their own, so I snack on them by picking them right off the bush. :-)
