Just Peachy

A couple of sightings from my Sunday.

Yesterday morning I noticed this tree in my front yard was covered in baby peaches. I had to do a double take. I mean, it's a peach tree and all. I just never expected it would produce. This is what came from those pretty pink blossoms from back in March.

I don't know what this flower is but they were so pretty and so many of them. It looks like the poppies I saw at the farmers market but I can't imagine that the city would plant a field of poppies. I read that they are illegal to grow in some places. Anyway, I liked them. And didn't get sleepy while shooting. Remember The Wizard of Oz?

Beautiful shot of peaches..you were surprised like I was at our pecan tree bearing pecans! If you spray these peaches with insecticide they won't have worms and will be a good crop! Time to spray mine, they are tiny..have to do it several times. May be too late for these.Looks like beautiful poppies to me!

WOW! Lucky you to have such a "peachy" tree!!!
Beautiful camera work! Love the colors & DOF on the California poppies! Just imagine how delicious your home-grown peaches will be, in a bowl with vanilla ice cream....(grin/slurp)

I like the picture of the flowers. I never knew poppies came in any color besides red :)

I would LOVE to have a peach tree...I think I'd be the most popular house in town lol... Those flowers definitely look like California poppies to me... maybe they grow wild? Love the colour
