Between the leopard shoot, work travel and wet weather, I only got back to the park a little this evening. Some geese are stopping over. Swan family still…

The swans were in water but would swim up much closer than they let me get on land. I was testing a new lens though which isn't really sharp.

Spent some time on Brighton beach as passing on work travels. Lots of seagulls. How I miss them. I prefer their calls to so called songbirds any day.

Weather was too nice so went out to Jubilee lake and Bassett canal. Lake was full of ducks as ever as well as 4 geese. Canal had yet more ducks and a swan…

Swans were snacking and snoozing on the grass, so I joined them for a bit. Also spotted that robin, which has seen better days.

Having seen so many exotic animals recently, the local park seems positively boring now. Nothing much happening there tonight other than the swans erm… swanning…
