My 1st Moon Shots

Saw the full moon and took a few snaps. Camera was set to automatic and image stabilisation was on but no other technical stuff which I'm probably supposed to use.

      Nice job for your first try! I know it's very hard to get moon shots. I took many shots of the moon with my older camera and never got anything I was happy with.

      You have to have a steady hand with moon shots or tripod you did very well.

      The moon is so hard to shoot, I find... tripod, special lense, what not... but I am with you: I also want spectacuar shots with my handheld point and shoot... :o)

      try 1/125 of a second at F11. if possible use manual focus at infinity and not beyond.. this tends to work well for full moon shots

      nice shots, but you might also try to use manual or semi manual modes, that also give good results with personnal settings...
