Bagpuss

Bagpuss is a 1974 UK children's television series, made by Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate through their company Smallfilms. The title character is “an old, saggy cloth cat, baggy, and a bit loose at the seams”.Although only 13 episodes of the show were made, it remains fondly remembered and has often been repeated in the UK.

This is a small- 2 inch square and 2 inches deep tin that had some jelly sweets in it from Marks and Spencer.

It sits near the pc and now holds paperclips. Bagpuss on his cushion swivels.

      Until today, I had never heard of Bagpuss, but he's adorable. No wonder children loved him - as I love your sweet and colorful photos of him!
