Black Cat

He's a regular visitor to my garden and arrives most days and rests in various positions, sometimes staying for several hours. I thought at first he was a stray and gave him food but have picked him up and stroked him and he's heavy and well fed. He's been coming for several months and seems unfazed by the fact that the garden ‘belongs’ to my 3 boys. There is a kind of uneasy truce between them all and no fights have broken out. Cody and Brady are real wimps but it is Ripley- the smallest and usually most nervous, who sometimes gives a little run at ‘Fluffy’ as I call him but this doesn't deter the intruder who in all respects is the opposite of my 3 cats. Long haired and black instead of short haired and white.

Aww, he's a sweetheart! I love him! I haven't been here for a while (to busy to browse through phb) but I'm catching up and I love what I see. Your flowers remind me those in my grandma's garden many years ago...

we had a cat that came all summer to the garden,we named him Arthur..he was a bigger version of Roxy..both Patch and Roxy were ok with him then really mean at the drop of a hat!! hissing growling and spitting!!He came right into the house a few times when I had the door open due to the nice weather..not something I wanted to encourage incase he got stuck inside when i didnt know it especially because I am away overnight sometimes. He was well fed too. Cats are so amusing!

Cute . just discovered the cat which I find sitting on my door mat every morning was the old tenent's cat she had two but they can't seem to catch this one another lady feeds it though . I haven't been able to even stroke it as it always runs off.
