DancingDolphin's theme of “The Hundred Penny Box.”

Here's the story:
In the book, “The Hundred Penny Box”, a very old woman has a box filled with pennies dated one for each year of her life. The child in the story goes to the box and pulls out a penny, and the old woman tells the child a story from that year of her life.

The idea is to take a penny and find a PHOTO from that year of your life. If you would like to join in, please tag your photo “100pennies” so that we can share.

Amazing that I actually found a 1969 penney….and that I actually have a photo. I can't remember who took this photo from back stage while we were playing this concert but I'm glad he shared it. We were the ‘chocolate bathtub rings’ for a while. From left to right is Ozzie (RIP), Joe, George and myself. Maybe we were playing the Lovin' Spoonful's “You didn't have to be so nice”. I really don't remember. I wanted to play the solo from Inagodda da vidda but the bass player wasn't having it. All kinds of wild stuff went on back there. I do remember playing basketball two weeks before and got my finger knocked clear out of joint. Somebody taped the drumstick to my hand and the show went on.

Now that's what you call dedication, great memory shot for your penny.
