In Germany we have this word "Schattenspiele" for the way the shadow is playing with the light. I find that word really beautiful but haven't encountered an english word for it yet.
So the topic of this photo series was shadows and light, how they interact with each other and how I can use them to take some nice pictures
I have quite a fascination with flowers. They just look amazing (especially with the sun reaching out to them) but they are even more amazing, when you start to understand how clever these organisms are. Have you ever watched "The private life of plants"? You haven't? Well, it's time!
This shadow-tree I found especially beautiful. It seems to fit perfectly on this statue on campus.
