Platax Teira
This species is the largest species of 'batfish'. They grow to 70cm (28 in). They can be found throughout the entire Indo-Pacific region, their range extending from the western Indian Ocean to as far east as Australia.
They are most common around reefs and shipwrecks (which is where I found these).
Shot with a GoPro Hero4 and a red PolarPro filter. The red tinge is result of bad strobe light positioning on my part. You live and you learn.
