Saturday Morning Market...again!

Saturday morning arrives once again.
We rarely miss the opportunity to buy fresh vegetables etc. followed by a tipple at mid-day.
I couldn't resist the brilliant yellow of the mimosa, I did resist buying a bunch!

I just love the atmosphere here on a Saturday morning. Whatever the weather everyone exchanges a “bon mot”!

Anyone for cheese?

I often wonder how you Americans feel about cheese, meat and veggies being on sale with livestock! The French don't seem to give a damn about any health and safety regulations!

AAh…the mimosa catches the eye does it not?

Passerine…I couldn't help but drag this out…the colours of your “Morning Glory” , pink, blue and cream together with the green of leaves and the brown of twigs “knit” well together here! AND the buttons are of wood to give a “natural” feel to the garment.
I made this some 15 years ago for a county competition in the U.K. I came second. I was a member of the W.I….the Calendar Girls group!
