Ypres…so flat.

Our name GRIMBLE on the wall.

We search the register.

We find a Louis Grimble who was married to an Annie Rose Gallacher.
What is astonishing and sent a shiver down our spines is the fact “Louis” is the name of my grandson and “Annemie Rose” the name of my grandaughter.

Another body had been recently discovered… he was given a full military funeral…as you can see lawn is freshly turfed.

War is such a sad business. The last one is interesting with the discoloration of the grass.
