REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY in OUR VILLAGE

by Marilyn Grimble November. 12, 2015 1111 views

Our village ceremony is always a very touching tribute to the fallen. The children from both the senior and infant schools sing and lay a wreath.

I used to live in the house with the green shutters!
Lovely to see the little girl carrying a standard, it must have been quite heavy for such a wee mite.

Then the pompiers!

Lowering the standard in recognition of those who perished.

Very nicely documented. It is nice to see children taking part. As a teacher, I took my students to the ceremonies for over 30 years. The vets and senior citizens always commented on how nice it was to see them there.

Remember your house next to Beatrice. Marlieux is a small pleasant city.
