YESTERDAY'S RESCUE OPERATION

Kingfisher again!

What tiny birds they are!

Quite happy in the palm of Des' hand

Free to go - but resting up, maybe shock or a damaged wing

We took him to a nearby pond/lake and left him - hope he managed to fly away. Our retired Dr. who often mends broken wings was away on holiday, so we had to leave our little friend to his fate.

We had another in the garden today, not sure if it was the same one or its lost mate. Mxx
