Walk in the Park: Living Trees

by Shane Coleman March. 27, 2018 505 views

Since I included some photos of dead trees in the series, I didn’t want to leave out the living. The dichotomy of the living branches and the dead trees in the background really caught my attention. I think the vivid green of these tree branches really pop with the drab background. Because of this and a shallow depth of field, my wife said “it’s like looking at a photo in 3D.”

#1 - is my favorite, because the bokeh of the background enhance the foreground in a very harmonic way.
