I was lucky enough to have this week of from work and also lucky to have three days of the week in glorious sunshine. One of the places I decided to visit was a fishing village called Mevagissey in Cornwall witch has a population of less than 5000. Mevagissey is about five miles from the biggest town called St Austell and is also within easy travelling distance from many other cornish holiday destinations.
Mevagissey has the second largest fishing port in cornwall as can be seen by the number of fishing boats I captured in the harbour during my visit, The village has an array of shops , cafes and bars and has something for everyone. I would definately reccommed a visit , considering I only live an hour away I'm suprised this is my first visit but definately will not be my last.
