Mourning Cloak butterfly
this is the half that's done! Well, practically done, anyway.
What a beauty! It looked like he was posing for us, but apparently, they hang out like that in the afternoon to try and attract females.
This is extremely overexposed, but I like it anyway because of the detail it shows in the butterflies wings.
That's a very interesting butterfly. You usually think of them as being full of bright colors.
