January Pictures that didn't make the cut!

Completed January for the 365 Day January only another 11 months to go! So here are some other pictures that were taken through January that didn't get the title of photo of the day!

Sunset over Arthur's Seat, I climbed Arthur's seat at 6am on Sunday to originally capture this shot, however I preferred another shot I got of a long exposure.

Side view of Rachael at Portobello Beach, I told her I wanted to take another image of someone playing music over the other side of the beach, Rachael's not too comfortable being put in front of the lens so natural is always best. Give her a smartphone though... Selfie galore!

Another variation of an image I took at beginning of the year when I was stuck more in doors.

Sitting waiting for sunrise at Arthur's Seat, with the city waking up in front of me. Might be my new banner soon!

Rachael and Abel, Rachael might not be looking at the camera here however the expression on Abel's face, it was worth keeping.

I think this was my favourite image taken over January, however Rachael HATED it. I like the natural look captured and the endearing eyes. Wanting to keep a girlfriend though you let her stew on it for awhile before you're allowed to upload it!

A low angle view of a bridge that crosses Inverleith Park in Edinburgh, I like the low angle pictures. Seem to give a different perspective of an uninteresting area.

Took this at the end of the night when we visited South Queensferry to take an image of the bridges. Wasn't looking for an image of the pair of them but they're a good team so if you have a chance to capture a moment you take it.

If you got to the bottom of the post, thanks for sticking around! Going to visit the parent's soon for their anniversary, I think they shall be my image for today.

I like the idea of showing work that didn't make the cut. I'll have to think about that for next month.
