365 Day Challenge - Day 67

Walking home from work to the train station, I always see tourists taking photos of the red phone boxes. Walking past them daily I see nothing of interest, taking a step back to think about it, these are probably very uncommon anywhere else as phone boxes are no longer needed.

Red Phone box, Edinburgh

I turned the other way and took a few more with the sun setting, however exposing for the highlights and trying to bring the shadows back in post isn't really an option with the D3100 too much noise in the shadows!

I admit to being one of those tourists when I was there! such a beautiful city, one of my favorite stops along the way. Great capture!

I haven't seen a phone booth in a really long time. Are they used often there?

I've never seen them used! We have a few scattered around the city, think they are kept as part of the cultural value now.
