Brig O’Doon, is in Alloway South Ayrshire, it is a bridge used in the Tam O’Shanter poem by Robert Burns, in the late 18th century. In the poem Tam O’Shanter is on a horseback and being chased by a witch called Nannie, he escapes over the bridge.
