My first photowalk! :)

Having gotten the camera at the start of the week, I was impatient to go out and actually start shooting pictures. Alas, the camera didn't come with a memory card! Once that arrived, I was simply waiting for good weather conditions. Then I realized it's Wisconsin in winter - it's not getting any better for at least two more months. So I just went.

Important lesson learnt: Don't point cameras at people's doors. They come out and ask questions :)

Nice clicks! If you're just starting off, there's a good photography course I found useful  (https://graphics.stanford.edu/courses/cs178/), especially the weekly assignments section. Could probably try some of them in your photowalks.

Seriously though. I had some cheap business cards made with a nice design, email address and my name. I just hand one to anyone who asks. I find it immediately removes suspicion and usually ends up with an interesting conversation.

It's so true! Having a card changes everything. It makes you appear trustworthy and professional! Even when you don't feel that way grinning
