b&w for a yellodog

This shot was posted in colour here. [photoblog.com] It was suggested that it might be a good candidate for b&w conversion. I like the result. What do you think?

Love it in b&w. I think this is what suits best these pictures. I like #2 better, it's simply amazing.

I like the flower and the stem ... I think maybe for a b/w I might crop it differently though, there's a lot of empty space.... maybe even turn it on it's side for some 'drama'! or not! :)
