Day 200 A Glimpse of Clarity

by Marjorie Mcdonald October. 23, 2010 3454 views

My daughter wanted to paint again today. I found a canvas and let her go to it. I didn't direct, I know better now, after 12 years of child rearing. Her piece is has a freedom and clarity that I find impossible to find in myself. 200 consecutive days and I've brushed clarity briefly, but sometimes it feels I see it only enough to know it's gone.

200 - Congratulations. Sticking with a project for that long is an accomplishment in itself.
Sometimes clarity is behind the fog and all you have to do is wait for the sun to shine.

I remember when I was your daughter age, I rarely did paintings. I used to draw instead!
it is very interesting, who knows if your daughter will follow art and will become an artist? :)

Beautiful creation. Sometimes we have to quit looking to be able to see clear again. Good luck with your search....
