Day 239 - This one is to say thanks

Thank you []

Thanks soo much to Onlyricky and MrsBox for the privilege of being interviewed by you!

It was a pleasure to do, and I so enjoyed everyone's comments.. I'll let each of you decide which parts were truth and which were in jest ;)

Tonight local businesses in the village held an annual event called Christmas in the Village. All the shops were opened, and many had specials to attract customers. Most of them also had free things for the children, hot chocolate, cookies, crafts and the like. I wanted to make sure that I took lots of pictures, in the hopes of getting something that would be ‘me’ not just a bunch of snaps.

I'm quite pleased with the b&w I chose. The very bad pano is to give you an idea of the size of our ‘downtown’. My apologies in advance for all of your twisted necks. :)

Yeah, the artificial spinal disks in my neck made some noise when I tried to see the pano horizontal but it was worth for

I'm always partial to a pano - your's is particularly charming (pity I don't have a chorus of dancers to tilt me 90º).

You can lessen the bowing effect by merging shots captured vertically using a wider angle of view, BTW.

The panoramic image has great exposure for low light - so bright and pretty with the angle of the buildings. I also adore the first shot because of the subject and the incredible clarity.

I think the pano is great. I like the fact that the edges haven't been squared. It was a very amusing interview.
