evening walk in fading light

I know I've said it before, but it bears repeating… I am ever grateful for the amazing support you give me here. It feels ill deserved, since in return I have been tremendously lax in my comments on all of your wonderful blogs. My apologies to you all, and my commitment to visit more often are all I can offer.

Thank you all [youtube.com]

the light fades so quickly this time of year… in the span of less than 30 minutes, the light is gone almost completely, and it's barely 8:00 pm

You hush! You are a huge part of this online community. You are not lax at all. You are incredibly encouraging to everyone. Beautiful set my friend. I love the light on the water.

I've noticed how early it's getting dark too. It's okay. Time to settle down.

Those are people in the background aren't they?

No worries; I totally understand. I comment, etc, when I have time and when I don't, oh well.... LOVE #1; the color and the people in the background. Just beautiful!

There are moments in our day, we do not want do without the simplest things, too short a walk, the silent voices, our cameras, ourselves.
And then, here. This is what we can get back. Lights, shadows, reflections, but also our thoughts and memories of those 30 minutes. 30 minutes to sometimes change your day. Beautiful images, a small bridge, dusk, reflections on the water, darkness.
it is as if you had brought us together with you in this evening walk.

Such beautiful captures. The vibrancy of the first capture is so beautiful. I also really like the 3rd capture.
I agree with djnana, I love your work.

Marjorie, I can not tell you how much I like the first shot! Everything about it is appealing to me. And the last one is simply mesmerizing. Don't ever worry about commenting or replying to me - I'd much prefer that you continue posting your excellent work.

I like the shot from the Mill steps Marjorie. When I coached hockey, I would sit about the same spot these photos were taken and gather my wits between games during tournaments. The others are excellent photos but that one is a memory for me. Your sentiments in the text... We do what we are able when we are able. At other times... life has many other obligations...
