pink dream

Hark! the hours are softly calling
Bidding Spring arise
To listen to the rain-drops falling
From the cloudy skies
To listen to Earth's weary voices
Louder every day
Bidding her no longer linger
On her charm'd way
But hasten to her task of beauty
Scarcely yet begun.

I like the second shot, a style which I seldom attempt. It is in close and makes your mind fill in the rest of the object.

well, rose is a rose is a rose, as Gertrude Stein once claimed, but, has she ever seen such a beautiful shot of a tulip?! excellent capture

Gorgeous shallow focus areas captured here! Love the colors you were able to get on this beautiful shot too!

Absoeffinlutely stunning Marjorie. I tried water droplets this morning. I'm emailing one to you so you (only you) can see how crappy it is. I just think it's my camera truthfully. No excuses. I just think it can't do it.
Love the poem.
