God....even the title is shitty. I am posting from my phone.  I use swype, which automatically adds spaces....except not in the title bar, apparently. I'm leaving it as it happened though, for reference.

I'm posting phone screen shots today, not art. There seems to be no way to post a photo in the feedback post.

I get that this is a work in progress, but seriously, some of this stuff couldn't have been sorted out beforehand?

Esthetics matter. A lot. It goes to ease of use.  I hope these things get sorted.  I get that there has been a lot of time and energy and more than a few grey hairs put into this.  In hindsight, maybe releasing to a small group on beta should have been a consideration.

@mcmommy When I am checking from Android (Nexus 5) both title issue and the private message issue is not there. I used android default Swype and my PMs run into tens of threads but they are not displayed as small as in your screenshot.

The site is designed to be fully responsive. So this may be an isolated case that needs fixing. Can you let us know which brand of Phone and it's operating system (Android version..etc) you are using?

Thanks.

Thanks for that info. Also, it seems you are helping someone send a private message? Were they trying to do that from inbox?

Private messages can be initiated from the user's blog. There is a help article related to this https://www.photoblog.com/help/questions/46/how-do-i-send-a-private-message-to-another-member/

Thanks for helping them. This is a work in progress and we will make things better as we get more feedback.

After some fumbling I managed to find it. It seems intuitive to simple cock the mail icon. I think I sorted it but Idk if the recipient did as he hasn't replied

Sigh....and here is the reason why the ability to edit comments is important.....clearly "cock" is not the word I wanted to use.

Still not sure what word you intended to use :) You mean the mail icon is not clear? Or it did not stand out as a place to check for private messages? I will add your suggestion for comment editing into a later release. Thanks.

I would have said simple "click" on the mail icon.... the mail icon is the natural place to want to sent a message, but it's not the case here. Beyond that, there is typically is more than one way to do any given task. Not so here. Some of these things... no, a lot of these things, don't seem to make sense from a user standpoint. And that's the standpoint that matters, isn't it?

I will add new message functionality on the main page soon. A content management system such as PhotoBlog is very complex and is usually perfected over few years. We are just two weeks old, with enough feedback we will get there :)

I've no doubt you will.... I hope you're not getting tired of the feedback. Believe me, we don't like to sound like a bunch of whiners lol

Not tired of the feedback at all. Part of it is that users got used to the old system for so long. So everything on it became a standard. But I am determined to iron out the bugs and make PhotoBlog thrive again. Wish me luck!
