I'm still interested in how folks achieve such cool images via manual settings. Always interested in what cameras they use, as well

Well, I have a Nikon D750, and a few prime lenses. This, however, was taken with a 70-300. I may or may not have been in Aperture priority, I don't remember ;-)

Thanks! I'm always keen to have that info.....I have a D750 too, with a 24-120mm zoom and a 50mm 1.8 prime. I just got a Panasonic G-7 K mirrorless rig with 14-140mm zoom and a 25mm 1.7 prime. I'm liking the new rig because it's so much lighter to carry around, but I love both rigs! I usually shoot in RAW but love to experiment with all kinds of settings, since I'm, relatively, a rookie....
