We spent five days in CT and then drove down to North Carolina to spend the night in Tarboro. First stop the next day was Kitty Hawk, where the wind never stops and where the Wright Brothers made their historic flight. We then drove down the Outer Banks to Cape Hatteras, where we had to take a ferry to Ocracoke Island. We then spent the night on the island and took the Cedar Island ferry back to the mainland the next day.
It goes without saying that we can't wait to go back.
