Christmas Day

We had a quieter than usual Christmas this year. It was just Dan, my in-laws and me. No decoration or meal was spared, however, and it turned out to be a wonderful day.

All of the vintage ceramics come out.

The patio is all decorated for the season

My in-laws. The buffet table is full: roast lamb with herbs, roast chicken with fruit chutney, potato salad, pasta salad, fruit salad, cabbage salad, bread rolls, and the obligatory beet root. For dessert, we had apple and cherry pie with ice cream. I seriously need to work out now because of all that food!

wonderful pictures of the ceramics - note to self, keep away from Melanie's christmas pics, they give too many ideas.
Our christmas day was quieter than usual as well but still enjoyable. Boxing Day was it's usual full on self, husband and his cousin did their usual of seeing who could out drink who. This year husband won, if you call staying awake 20 minutes longer a win.
