Icy Travels

I was driving to work after a small winter storm. My commuting time is about an hour. Work is closer to the coast and often sees different weather patterns than we do at home. I was almost to the office when I came around the corner to a beautiful road covered in ice coated trees. It was peculiar because the trees were not covered like this on the rest of the road that I had travelled down. I grabbed my smartphone to take a few pics. I really wish I had my camera that day, although I probably wouldn’t of gotten much work done for the boss lady.

The birds did not care one bit that their trees were covered in ice. They were probably more annoyed with the sound of my boots crunching around their trees.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of the ice covered trees blowing in the breeze, it made for a welcoming song to start my day in the office. Nature is beautiful, isn’t it?
