Wildflowers or Weeds?

—————————————————————————————-

Just having fun with the macro lens! Two common “wildflowers” in the Pacific Northwest - Thistles and Clovers.

Thistle.

Thistles. As a point of reference, the pink top on this thistle is 10cm - 3/8" in diameter!

Hint: These are much better enlarged.

Clover. Enlarge.

I wouldn't say they were weeds, they're just common and called that. Judging by these pictures, I'd say they were flowers! Vibrant, rich hues. Nice lens, if I might add.
