Kyoto at night

Kyoto is in many places of breathtaking beauty, enriched with fascinating temples or shrines, palaces or old residential and commercial buildings in masterly wooden construction, embedded in inimitably beautiful parks. In the evening and at night, an incomparable splendor and a mysterious silence cover the city.

Wonderful images!  One thing that I notice is for a place with so many people the streets are very clean. Is that true?

Thank you 😊 Yes, Japan is generally very clean, even in Tokyo there is no garbage on the streets, and this despite the fact that there are almost no public trash cans. Japanese don't eat on the streets and even as a tourist you quickly make yourself unpopular. Those who produce garbage on the road naturally take it home and dispose of it there. Anyone who nevertheless throws trash into the landscape must expect heavy fines. In general, however, people in Japan are very careful with things.
