The World

by Mialeena Nguyen September. 15, 2016 1020 views

I don't want to be rich in the way of how many digits I have in my bank account. Instead I Want to be rich in the way of how many cultures I've experienced, how many cities I've lived in, how many countries I have visited and how many memories I have made.

World Map

Many people have a goal of being rich or buying a new car or getting that career that's expected of them and buying a new house. Not me. I don't want to buy a brand new house or a brand new car and lock myself into endless years of debt. I don't want to be rich in the form of how much money I earn and carelessly dispose of it. My ultimate life goal is to travel the world. I want to see more, do more, live more, experience more!

There's an endless sea of opportunities out there and I want to dive in and find them. It may take me my entire life and years of saving, but slowly I will be ticking of each little dot on the world map.

My next major travel destination

Next Stop..

I have only just begun my travelling journey and have made my way up and down Australia's east coast. Next on my travel list is New York City for Christmas and words cannot describe my excitement!

...

So please, leave me some feedback on my posts. I'd love to know what you think and take onboard any tips you may have.

Follow me, my journey, my experiences, my memories and see the world through my eyes.

Until next time, Mia xx

I can totally understand you Mia. I've been trying to do exactly that for some years now and it is amazing. You will love the buzz of New York. Have a safe trip. I was there many many years ago and it was fantastic - I even have dinner on top of one of the Twin Towers, before they went down due to those crazy terrorists.

Wow, it's amazing that you can say you've had dinner on top of one of those buildings! I believe it's stories and experiences such as that one, that make you richer :)

You bet it is. Nothing else matters (except people, especially our family and friends)

You are absolutely right about these materialistic goals. The worst thing is that it is a never ending game and people are never satisfied with what they have.

I look forward to seeing your experiences and memories from New York. I am yet to go to NY so I will be following your posts :)

That is true, we seem to live in such a spoilt world these days.
Thank you very much, I appreciate the time you take to read and comment on my blog :)
