Last year I decided to study abroad in Goteborg, Sweden. I can thankfully say that I have made it to week two. I am living on my own in a cute little apartment at the top of a hill overlooking the city. This apartment has become my place of solace and rejuvenation. I feel that at least for a little while, I have found my new home.
This blog is not necessarily about my own personal experiences studying abroad, but will more so be touching on how we all can find adventure in life and explore new opportunities.
As a woman teetering on the line of introversion and extroversion, I feel that I was the least likely embark on this this journey. To be honest, without the push of others and my own pride, I don't know if I would have made it across the Atlantic far far away from all things familiar.
It is in uncertainty, dark valleys and in new lands where characters in novels often find their inner strength. My hope is that by creating a window into my life through the way of this blog, you too will be inspired to travel a road you have yet to tread.
